Password Notices Tip Got Facebook? Editor's Comment: This following post was recently entered by Peter Gorod, and I am delighted to highjack it for the front page. It's exciting to see this sort of tool appear. Peter has written a program to convert from MS Word documents to eReader format complete with tables and charts, etc.
I have not used the program myself, so I don't really know anything about it yet nor can I guarantee its safety , but I encourage the more adventurous of our readers to give it a go and let Peter know on his forum what you think.
Be sure to stop by here also to keep us updated on the general reaction! BobR Quote:. Last edited by BobR; at PM. Reason: Move To Front Page. Peter, this is a great script you wrote. Well at least for some documents.
I tested it with an e-book in. First DropBook was kinda slow took a few minutes on my Intel Centrino 1. Try correcting your original document to avoid them.

To start your ebook, create a new Word document.
If you plan to make multiple ebooks, design a basic layout and save it as a Word template so that you can use it for each new book. If you are making just one ebook, you can go ahead and place your text in it as you go. Start with the title page, typing the book title, subtitle, and author name, along with any other details that should appear here.
Select the title text and format it by clicking the Title style in the Styles gallery on the Home tab of the Ribbon toolbar. Click a style in the Styles gallery to apply it to the selected text. Select and format all of the other text on the title page, too; for example, you can choose the style Emphasis for the author name and other information. If a style does not format text the way you want it to look, you can change the style by right-clicking its name in the Style gallery and choosing Modify.
