I downloaded the Office trial, and tried to entered the product key I bought. As I type the last digit, I get an incorrect key message. So, this is not some spurious error. Perhaps you cannot convert the trial using an OEM licence? Do I need to get an OEM preinstallation kit? From what I have learned, I don't believe that there is any way that I can use this licence.
